Adding Discounts

Bundle Builder empowers you to incentivize your bundles with our flexible discount options. To edit these:
  1. 1.
    Go to Bundles.
  2. 2.
Select the bundle that you would like to edit.
  3. 3.
    Select Pricing.
There are three types of discount that you can apply to your bundle:
  • Percentage discount
  • Fixed discount
  • Fixed price
These three types of discount can be set through two options: Flat discounts and Tiered discounts.

Flat Discounts

Flat discounts are the quickest way to encourage your customers to add more products to a bundle - simply head to Discount value and enter the discount you would like to apply.
To learn more about how to use flat discounts, please read our guide:

Tiered Discounts

If you wish to offer your customers different levels of discounts depending on what criteria their purchase meets, select Tiered discount.

Further Discount Customization

Minimum Price

If you would like to set a minimum price so the discount is only applied to bundles over a certain value, select This discount requires a minimum purchase.

Showing Price Comparison

If you would like to display a 'compare at' price for the discounted bundle, select Show discounted price - this will be visible on the collection page and on confirmation emails.

Free products

If you would like to allow your customers to order bundles of free products, select Allow total bundle price to be 0.

Free Items Through Discounts

An option to offer free items within your bundle is to utilize the discounts system to fix the price of your bundle, effectively rendering one of the products 'free'. See the example below:
Bundle Contents Product A = £10 Product B = £10 Product C ('free' product) = £5 Usual price = £25 Fixed price = £20
To set a fixed-price discount:
  1. 1.
Go to Bundles, select the bundle that you would like to edit, and click Pricing.
  2. 2.
Scroll down to Pricing, and go to Type > Fixed Price.
  3. 3.
Under Bundle Price, enter the fixed price you would like to set.
Finally, we recommend putting a limit in place on the number of products within the bundle to avoid the discount being abused:
  1. 1.
Go to Bundles, select the bundle that you would like to edit, and click Conditions.
  2. 2.
Under Conditions, select Total number of products from the menu, and set the conditional operators as you wish.
